Our commitment to accessible services under the AODA and WCAG 2.2.

Last updated: July 2026

Our Commitment

Workright is committed to providing an accessible environment for all clients, learners, employees, and website visitors, including people with disabilities. We are committed to meeting the accessibility requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its regulations, including the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR). We strive to ensure our website and digital training content conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

Scope

This policy applies to workright.ca, our online training platform at training.workright.ca, the eLearning courses we build and distribute, and our interactions with clients, learners, employees, job applicants, and members of the public.

How We Meet Accessibility Requirements

Information and Communications

  • We design our website and course content with accessible structure, including semantic headings, keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, and sufficient colour contrast.
  • We provide alternative text for meaningful images and captions or transcripts for video content where applicable.
  • We will provide accessible formats and communication supports for people with disabilities, upon request, in a timely manner and at no additional cost.

Employment

  • We notify employees, job applicants, and the public that accommodations are available during recruitment and throughout employment.
  • We provide individualized workplace emergency response information to employees who require it.
  • We develop individual accommodation plans and return-to-work processes for employees who have been absent due to a disability, where applicable.

Training

Workright provides training on the requirements of Ontario's accessibility laws and the Ontario Human Rights Code as it relates to people with disabilities, to employees, volunteers, and others who develop policies or provide services on our behalf.

Design and Development

  • Custom eLearning courses we build for clients follow accessible design practices consistent with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, including keyboard operability, screen reader compatibility, captioning, and adjustable text sizing where technically feasible.
  • We test key pages and course templates for accessibility and address issues identified through testing or feedback.

Feedback Process

We welcome feedback on how we provide accessible services and on the accessibility of our website and course content. Feedback may be provided by phone, email, or mail, and will be addressed in a manner that takes into account the person's disability, where applicable.
